Charles Burke

Vice President of the National Farmers' Federati0n.

Mr Charles Burke was elected Vice President of the National Farmers' Federation at 2004 June Council meeting in Canberra. He was re-elected to the position in June 2006.

Mr Burke is currently chair of the National Farmers' Federation Farm Business & Economics Committee and the NFF Drought Task Force. He is also the NFF representative at the Federal Government Agricultural Finance Forum and has served on the NFF Economics Committee since 2001.

Mr Burke also holds several positions within AgForce Queensland including Chair of the AgForce Rural Business Committee and AgForce South East Region Vice President.

Mr Burke manages a family cattle property “Stanley House” situated on Lake Somerset in the Brisbane Valley, Queensland. In partnership with his wife Alison, he developed the Brisbane Valley's first prestigious tourist facility ‘The Lake House On Somerset' of four luxury lakefront villas in 2000.
