Greg BradfieldCEO Tasmanian Farmers' and Graziers' Association. Mr Greg Bradfield was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association (TFGA) in March 2004. TFGA is the peak industry body for Tasmanian farmers. Mr Bradfield and his family moved back to Launceston after living in the Falkland Islands. He previously held the position of General Manager of Falkland Landholdings Corporation a 253,000 hectare wool business running 250,000 sheep. "It was a fantastic experience for my family and hopefully a worthwhile one for the Falkland Islands as well." Mr Bradfield is dedicated to ensuring that the interests of Tasmanian farmers are well represented in the political scene from country halls to Parliament House. Farmers need an effective body to represent them as the hand of Government is tightening its grip all the time. "We have a great team at TFGA and Tasmanian Farmers can be confident that they are being well represented." Mr Bradfield is an avid sports enthusiast who loves cricket, sailing, tennis and real tennis. A highlight of his cricketing career was playing an international tournament representing the Falkland Islands against Chile, "they gave us a fairly convincing bath," he said. At weekends Mr Bradfield enjoys gardening with his wife Bec, playing sport and playing with his two-year-old daughter Milly. He is also partial to watching just a little bit of cricket. Mr Bradfield has a Masters of Business Administration majoring in Agribusiness and International Business having completed a Bachelor of Business at the University of Tasmania and an Associate Diploma in Farm Management from VCAH Glenormiston. Mr Bradfield is also a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a member of a number of industry committees and Boards.
