Rebecca Carmody began presenting Stateline in 2005.

As well as working on the program, Rebecca continues in her role as the ABC's Perth based political reporter. You can hear her reports from parliament and on the road, throughout the day on ABC's 720 and ABC Local Radio throughout Western Australia.

Rebecca, who was born in Narrogin WA, has worked as a journalist throughout Australia for almost 10 years, in various capacities.

She spent two years in Sydney as a reporter for ABC's flagship radio current affairs programs AM, PM and The World Today, before moving back to her home town, Perth.
