Cr. Amanda Duncan-Strelec

Cr. Amanda Duncan-Strelec, born 1956, is a former Mayor of AlburyCity (1995).

Cr Duncan-Strelec was re-elected to AlburyCity in March 2004. Married to David, she is the owner of a family video store in Lavington.

In her role with AlburyCity, Cr Duncan-Strelec is the Council representative on the Athletic Track Advisory Committee which advises Council on issues relating to the Alexandra Park Athletics Complex.

Cr Duncan-Strelec is a member of the Audit Committee which oversees an internal audit plan for the City. The Committee is made up of three Councillors, three external members and the General Manager.

Cr Duncan-Strelec is also the Council representative on the Community Support and Expenditure Scheme which is a local committee established to recommend to local gaming clubs the community priorities that would benefit from contributions made from the clubs under the Gaming Machine Tax Act 2001, where registered clubs may apply a percentage of gaming income to Community Services.

Cr Duncan-Strelec is the Council representative on the Mirambeena Community Centre Advisory Committee.
