Perin Davey

Perin Davey joined GA&Co in August 2000 bringing with her strong rural and regional interests having qualified as a journalist in country NSW. Previously Perin was media adviser to the Australian National Party’s high profile Senate Leader, Ron Boswell.
Perin has worked on a wide range of Government Relations, public affairs and issue management briefs for various clients based both in Australia and international. Her work has included consumer protection issues and regulator issues in the e-commerce industry for eBay Australia, financial regulations with regard to internet payment providers for PayPal Incorporated, food regulation issues for The NutraSweet Company and several drug regulation issues for international pharmaceutical companies.
Perin has also been involved with clients seeking to be involved in reviews of Government regulatory programs, particularly relating to agricultural commodities including the AWB (wheat exports), Austereo (regional radio) and areas of Veterans’ Repatriation Benefits. She has also coordinated programs and events in Parliament designed to raise the political profile of clients and educate Members of Parliament about relevant client issues.
Perin retains solid political contacts, particularly within the National Party of Australia at both State and Federal levels of Government as well as within the organisation. She also has extensive tourism promotion experience, and spent three years working in the international safari industry in Botswana.
