Bridget is a Director who specialises in financial and corporate communications. She heads up Gavin Anderson & Company’s office in New Zealand, where Gavin Anderson is working together with Sue Wood and Associates, a local public affairs company. Since establishing the New Zealand office, Bridget has worked with National Foods, AXA, Citigroup, Origin Energy and Progressive Enterprises.
She joined Gavin Anderson & Company in 2002, bringing with her considerable legal and commercial experience, a strong knowledge of the media and experience in all areas of campaign strategy. In 2003, she worked on the successful float of the Promina Group (formerly Royal & SunAlliance). She also has experience with hostile takeovers, mergers and corporate recovery projects. Bridget’s clients in Australia included the liquidator of HIH, Wallace Funds Management, AurionGold, Asteron, Trust Company of Australia, Knights Insolvency and Yates.
Prior to joining GA&CO, Bridget worked for two years at Financial and Corporate Relations, specialising in financial and corporate communication. In this role, she worked on a number of significant projects, including the acquisition of AGC by GE Capital and the Tampa asylum seeker crisis.
Bridget is a qualified lawyer and has practised in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She has a BA/LLB from the University of Canterbury.
