South Australian member for Ashford. Minister in Rann Government from March 2002 until March 2006.

The SA Labor Party had the following biography on its website before the 2006 election:

Having left home and school at a young age, Stephanie worked as a waitress, cook, cleaner and clerk. Later, as an adult student, she gained an arts degree from Flinders University.
Ms Key's working life included many leadership roles in women's organisations and the labour movement, including the ACTU.
Stephanie enjoys gardening, wine appreciation and art galleries.

ASHFORD

Area: approx. 15.4km2

Location: This district was created at the 1998 redistribution (formerly named Hanson). The district now extends westerly from Goodwood Road to Marion Road and includes residential and light industrial areas from Cowandilla and Hilton in the north, the most southerly boundary being DeLaine Avenue Edwardstown.

History: Created at the 1998 redistribution. No changes were made to the boundaries at the 2003 redistribution.
