Hamish Robertson has been a producer and presenter with ABC Radio since 1987, after spending ten years with the BBC World Service in London as a senior producer.

While at the BBC he was a regular presenter of the Assignment documentary series and The World Today, travelling widely to North Africa, South Asia, the United States and Europe to gather material. He also produced People and Politics, Outlook and the 24 Hours programme.

Since rejoining the ABC, (he presented AM in the mid 1970's) he has presented ABC Radio's weekend current affairs programmes - Saturday AM and Correspondents Report. Hamish, who is half Scottish, half Australian (his mother was born in Brisbane) was educated at Westminster School in London and Aberdeen University in Scotland.
