Brian Tyson heads the Sydney Office of GA&Co. Brian’s expertise is in strategic issues management with specific skills in political consultation, government and community relations.
His 15 years experience in journalism, public affairs, politics and media management has enabled him to develop a strong network of media, government and bureaucratic contacts at a regional, state and national level.
He is one of Australia’s foremost communications advisors on transport/infrastructure developments and has led a number of high profile and complex public affairs briefs for clients including Airport Motorway, AGL, Boral, Fox Studios, Speedrail, Sydney Water, Woolworths, Business Council of Australia, M5 Interlink Roads Pty Limited, Foxtel and the Commonwealth Government re Sydney Airport sale.
Before consulting Brian worked as a senior advisor and press secretary to a State Premier and senior Minister.
Prior to his work in Government, Brian was a journalist with The Land newspaper.
